REGISTRATION

The following are various definitions/descriptions to assist you with the registration. Please examine the forms carefully before selecting and submitting the one that suits your needs.

Participant Types and Rates

Standard: For delegates from the countries with high economy (http://www.worldbank.org/data/countryclass/classgroups.htm#High_income). The full fee includes entrance to all sessions, conference pack, ISTP 2001 Conference Proceedings, accommodation, four lunches, coffee/refreshment breaks, attendance at the Opening Ceremony, Welcome Reception & Dinner, the Bosphorus Cruise & Dinner, Excursion to the Princes' Islands and transfers.

Reduced: For delegates from the countries with low, lower-middle , and upper-middle economy (all but high economy) (http://www.worldbank.org/data/countryclass/classgroups.htm#Low_income). The full fee includes entrance to all sessions, conference pack, accommodation, four lunches, coffee/refreshment breaks, attendance at the Opening Ceremony, Welcome Reception & Dinner, the Bosphorus Cruise & Dinner and transfers to the social events.

Student: Student delegates must provide an official transcript of the Fall 2002/Winter 2003 term, and further information (i.e., institutional support, financial status, etc.) if required by the Organization Committee. The fee includes entrance to all sessions, conference pack, accommodation, coffee/refreshment breaks, attendance at the Opening Ceremony, Welcome Reception & Dinner and transfers to the social events.

Accompanying Person: For the persons who share the conference accommodation with a delegate participant. Needs for a triple room, suite, etc. must be mentioned in the "special requests " box. The fee includes attendance at the Opening Ceremony, Welcome Reception & Dinner, accommodation, a Sightseeing Tour and transfers to the social events. All must register separately and must mention the name of the delegate.

Accommodation

All conference hotels are within short walking (less than one metro stop) distance to the Conference Center and are much closer to each other. All hotel rooms are with private bathroom/shower & toilet, direct dial phone, satellite system TV, music, air-conditioner, hair dryer, mini-bar, safebox and other amenities such as swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness center with jacuzzi, solarium, Turkish bath and sauna, bars and restaurants, etc. afforded the category. Priority in the booking for the conference hotels is given to the package registrations and on the first come basis. Price quotes for all other hotels listed in the Registration Form C are also special conference rates, and are based on the availability and a minimum number of the reservations.

Category A: Superior Class, five-star and four-star hotels

Category B: Special Class and four-star hotels

Category C: Standard Class and three-star hotels

Category D: Tourist Class and three-star hotels

Dormitory room: Single room in a suite of three with shared bathroom, living room and kitchenette at the Bogazici University campus. 30-45 min. bus ride to the Conference Center. For student participants only.

Registration Forms

Form A (Full Accommodation and Conference Package): For participants who would like to register for full conference and accommodation for five nights (Sunday through Thursday) in a conference hotel. The fee range in this almost all inclusive package is $900 (Standard) to $305 (Student) for early registration. Additional nights at the conference rate are possible if indicated in the Registration Form.

Form B (Registration for the Conference): For participants who prefer to register for the conference only, or separately. Full conference with, and without, some social events, and single day registrations are possible. The fee range in this form is $275 (Full Standard without the excursions) to $20 (Single day Student) for early registration. Please click Form B

Form C (Registration for the Conference Accommodation): For participants who would like to book an accommodation through the conference organization at the negotiated rates. Wider range of hotels and fees to select from. Please click Form C

NOT AVAILABLE (AS OF MARCH 15). IF YOU NEED AN ACCOMMODATION IN THE CONFERENCE REGION, PLEASE SEND AN E-MAIL, INDICATING YOUR CEILING RATE PER NIGHT (NOT ABOVE MENTIONED CATEGORIES OF THE FORM A ), ROOM TYPE, DATES AND A DEPOSIT OF $ 200. THE ORGANIZATION COMMITTEE IS WILLING TO NEGOTIATE ADDITIONAL ROOMS FOR YOU, IF YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY THE FULL AMOUNT BY THE DEADLINE WHICH THE HOTEL SUGGESTS!

Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests must be received via regular mail by May 10, 2003 as there will be no refund if requested after then. There will be a charge for one night accommodation fee and 50% of the fees for social events if applicable, and an $80 service charge for refunds.
