19:00 - 23:30 : Bosphorus Cruise & Dinner
As no stay in Istanbul is complete without the traditional boat ride through the Bosphorus, we are pleased to organize this unique experience for you. During the excursion we will view a delightfully surprising mixture of the past and present, ancient and Ottoman villas of wood, magnificent palaces of marble, six centuries old fortresses, imperial pavilions, elegant kiosks, long suspension bridges linking the two continents, and many more on both sides of the strait. We will enjoy delicious varieties of Turkish cuisine while admiring the breathtaking panorama of Istanbul under the sun set and the moonlight.
Included in the "Full Standard" and "Full Reduced" conference registration packages. Optional for all other types, and must be marked in the registration form. The ticket includes transfers from the conference center/to hotels, unlimited drinks, music and dance.

12:30 - 23:00 : Excursion to the Princes' Islands
For this highly favored summer activity, we will embark our boat at Kabatas. While relaxing on the Marmara Sea and enjoying lunch, we will pass by the Golden Horn, the Leander's Tower and the nine islands, only four of which are inhabited. We will disembark on the largest and most enjoyable of all, Buyukada. These island retreats for the Byzantine princes are famous for their beautiful pinewoods, beaches and old wooden houses. We will tour around the island, riding in phaetons (horse-drawn carriages) or bicycling. As Buyukada offers wonderful panoramic views and pleasant walks among its quiet streets and woods, there will be some time for leisure. The group will meet again at a well-known seafood restaurant by the shore. Evening cruise back to Istanbul (and a meteor shower over the Sea of Marmara is scheduled as bonus!) Transfer to the conference hotels.
Included in the "Full Regular" conference registration packages. Optional for all other types of participants, yet advance registration is necessary. The ticket includes the bus, boat and phaeton or bicycle rides, lunch, dinner and limited drinks.

20:00 - 01:00 : Banquet Dinner
With its splendid location and superb specialties, we expect that the Hammam Restaurant will add further to the traditional ISTP banquet dinner for a memorable Istanbul experience. On the skirts of the Topkapi Palace, and at the confluence of the Bosphorus, the Golden Horn and the Sea of Marmara, stands the Sepetciler Kasir which was built to keep the sultans' boats in 1648. Having gone through several renovations, and exactly 350 years later, this unique example of Classical Ottoman architecture was turned to the Hammam Restaurant.
Optional for all types of participants. Advance registration is necessary. The ticket includes transfers from/to the conference hotels, unlimited drinks and the entertainment.
